Read about the ONETAG parameter now being by supported by certain applets at the Cafe!
Deep within the bowels of Sun Microsystems, Inc. lies a lab... the New Media Marketing lab. In addition to many other responsibilities the members of this lab are charged with the task of developing Java programs. These programs, innocently know as applets, are occasionally released... bringing much joy and happiness to the virtual world. Those with a keen eye can spot these applets on Web pages and in CDs released by the developers within New Media Marketing lab.
The Cafe del Sol is the first bit of the 'outside world' the applets see. Here they congregate, compile amongst themselves, and finally (with the permission of their creators) venture out amongst the other Kilo-Mega-Gigabytes which whiz by the Cafe del Sol, Sun Microsystems, and every other place on the Internet.
But here they reside first. Here in there primal stages. If you are fortunate enough to have found the Cafe del Sol, then you are welcome to look around, investigate the applets, and basically get your fill of Java.
The Creators
While at the cafe be sure to say 'hi' to the people behind the applets... the Java-brewing maniacs who would love nothing more than talk coffee-code. Please read the FAQ page before sending mail, thanx.

Downloading and using the applets
The compiled code for the latest versions of these applets are available at a public FTP site: ftp://xm.com/pub/incoming/cafe/. Once you get the code, you should place the .class file in the same directory as your HTML page, and insert the following code:
- < applet code= width=*** height=*** >
Where *** determine the pixel width and height of the image on the displayed page (similar to the IMG width and height tags).
- < param name=*** value=*** >
- < param name=*** value=*** >
- < /applet >
The param tags are the lines which customize the applet to your needs. Refer to the specific applet descriptions to get detailed descriptions of the parameters relevant to that applet.
Note that it may not be possible to correctly download the applets through a web browser due to some funky Net problems. If you have trouble, try command line FTPing (I know, I know).
